Before we begin, here’s everything you need to know before arriving at EEMC 2026!
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
REGISTRATION & ACCESS
Registration will take place at ARCUB – Hanul Gabroveni, the main conference hub.
Please make sure you arrive early enough to collect your accreditation before your first scheduled event.
You will receive:

Important:
Your accreditation badge is required throughout the conference period for access to official EEMC spaces and events.
Please have your ticket confirmation or registration email ready during check-in.

This cultural landmark in Bucharest will host the EEMC 2026 Gala in partnership with Alternosfera Theatroll. We look forward to welcoming you.
Control Club, Expirat Club and Club Quantic
Some of Bucharest’s most important independent venues become part of the EEMC experience through concerts, showcases, and evening events.
Cărturești Carousel
A short immersion into culture and music together with Balkan Taksim. Saturday, May 23rd, from 7PM. Access is free for every EEMC attendee, but capacity is limited due to venue restrictions.

OPENING EVENT — BALKAN TAKSIM & GUESTS
EEMC opens with a special live performance celebrating regional heritage, experimentation, and cultural dialogue.
Balkan Taksim & friends
Featuring:
→ Svetlana Spajić
→ Zvonko Trailović
An evening where traditional Balkan sounds, electronic textures, oral histories, and contemporary LIVE performance meet on the same stage.
This concert is a statement about connection across generations, borders, and musical languages.

THE EEMC GALA - ALTERNOSFERA THEATROLL
On May 21, one of the central moments of EEMC 2026 takes over the stage of the Ion Luca Caragiale National Theatre.
The EEMC Gala is dedicated to the live music ecosystem of Romania, the Republic of Moldova, and the Romanian diaspora — bringing together recognition, performance, and community in one shared evening.
The event includes:
→ Awards for Excellence celebrating the venues, artists, and professionals shaping the live music sector
→ a special live performance by Alternosfera Theatroll
→ a gathering point for the people building the future of LIVE music across this shared cultural space

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. Which ticket should I purchase if I plan to attend only select events or panels?
A: We offer five ticket types tailored to a range of interests and industries. Please select the option that best suits you at https://eemusic.ro/tickets/
2. What is the process for accessing the “DRAFT” exhibition at ARCUB?
A: The exhibition will be open throughout EEMC in all ARCUB - Hanul Gabroveni spaces for EEMC participants. Registration includes access to the exhibition and scheduled guided tours.
3. Is there a specific dress code for the EEMC Gala?
A: There is no official dress code, but we recommend comfortable, smart casual, or elegant attire.
4. Is parking available at the venue?
A: Parking is not available at ARCUB - Hanul Gabroveni. The nearest option is near Kulturhaus, and the National Theatre in Bucharest provides 200 parking spaces. Other venues do not offer dedicated parking.
5. What language will be used during the panels?
A: All panels and events will be in English.
6. I purchased a student pass, but would like to attend additional events. Will my pass grant access?
A: The Student Pass grants access to all EEMC events except the Opening Event: A Balkan Fusion Extravaganza, East European Music Awards Gala, and the Event Safety sessions.
7. Do I need a student pass to register as a Next Generation Pass holder?
A: You must present a valid student ID at the entrance to access the Next Generation Pass.
8. What transportation options are available between venues?
A: The main venues are within walking distance of each other. Please note that transportation will not be provided by the organizers.
